Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Funny.
Seriously. Funny? Okay. Funny who?
No, silly. It's pronounced Ferney-hoe.
(painting by Takashi Murakami)
Serious stuff to follow.

Ah, the long-anticipated return of the "Fun sleepwear mario brothers red mushroom slippers" tag.
I don't want to sound like an alarmist, but that giant frog is going to devour us all.
Forgive me if I'm missing a pun (and it would be a good one), but I think you meant 'palate'.
Bxftpoxz: A cold Latvian potato-onion-whitefish dessert.
"As a footnote to this year's entry here, I went to the websites of Composition departments of Columbia, Princeton, Harvard, and Berkeley to hear what the (booby) prize winning faculties have produced: I can safely report that the proto-minimalist detritus I heard in the sound bites are no threat to the Hip-Hop mainstream in pop (and that's a good thing)."
(Found here, emphasis mine.)
Did you guys write this?
Nope! Pure coincidence. Also, there's a post-punk (I think? or metal?) band also called Detritus. We had no idea.
SA: C'mon. Easy on playing the role of editor, okay? Why'd you change the title? Bad blogger etiquette, even if it was a spelling error.
Besides, no appreciation for random homonyms, like pallet, which can be taken to mean: a projection on a machine part, serving to change the mode of motion of a wheel. I thought "pallet" was an agreeable substitution for "palate." No?
Seriously, Bro. Don't change my posts.
Sorry, E. Thought you'd made an honest mistake. No offense intended.
Jeez, get a room, you two!
Swrsfz: The noise that rhythmically occurs when Gen. Norman Schwartkopf and his wife have sex (I know, eeeww, right?).
Seriously guys...that crazy amphibian just took out Tokyo! The Japanese have awoken Mothra from her deep sleep...more news as it comes in.
Which reminds me of one of the great movie titles...
Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla
...And I thought that Empiricus meant "Pallette"--you know, in reference to that crazy painting.
Homonyms-a-Poppin': The Musical!
Starring Godzilla, Mecha-Godzilla, Space Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, and Gamera.
Lnnyiv: A homonym for 'pallet,' but not 'palate' or 'pallette', in the extinct Slavic tongue of Slovincian.
I really thought it was Mickey Mouse on acid.
