It occurs to me that I may have been a little unfair towards Strini in the last post. Lord knows, I get a little worked up when people disparage modernism. Their arguments against experimentation tend to be irrational and often hateful. Besides, it’s difficult to summarize the history of music in a couple of sentence fragments.
