Even our small-town paper doesn't abuse the language quite as much as this "review" did.<br />Oddly enough, I had read the original piece before coming across your excellent "deconstruction", and at that time, I scarcely noticed the profusion of grammatical gaffes.<br />I used to think I was pretty picky about language, but I'm afraid that my failure to notice the errors on my own might mean that I am really becoming accustomed to them, since they are so common in published material.<br /><br />I think I yammered on way too long, but I really did enjoy your writing.
